SWB headquarters in a historic building in Zurich, Switzerland

About SWB

Our focus is deliberately narrow: identifying brands with genuine historical substance, documenting their heritage and assessing the associated trademark rights, and placing them with buyers who see value in building on an authentic Swiss foundation rather than starting from scratch.

Every brand we represent has its own documented history, and every acquisition is approached individually — with particular attention to provenance, trademark rights and the substance required for a credible relaunch.

Meet Martin Heller

Martin Heller, Founder and Managing Director of SWB Swiss Watch Brands

Martin Heller combines legal training with more than four decades of international business and brand experience. His background includes the successful relaunch of his own heritage Swiss watch brand, the development of a high-end jewellery brand and a long-standing advisory role with a premium US fashion company.

Across two distinct career phases in the watch industry, he has developed extensive hands-on experience in brand positioning, international markets and the commercial realities of bringing a heritage brand back to market. This combination of legal, commercial and watch-industry experience shapes SWB’s approach to every acquisition: not simply as a trademark transaction, but as the foundation for a brand’s next chapter.

Buyers deal directly with Martin throughout the acquisition process, from the initial discussion through to completion. Where required, SWB works with experienced external specialists in areas such as trademark law, historical research and other disciplines relevant to a particular acquisition. This allows each project to draw on the expertise it requires while keeping the buyer’s relationship with SWB direct and personal.
